Blue Tongue Skinks

Native to Australia, Indonesia, and the surrounding islands, BTS come from a wide range of habitats, and thus evolved in many different ways. There are 12 subspecies of blue tongues, ranging in size from the 5” long endangered Pygmy BTS, to the 30” long Meraukes with their giant tails.

With their incredible personalities, stunning looks, and flashy blue tongues, is it any wonder that Blue Tongue Skinks (BTS) have become incredibly popular pet reptiles? I certainly fell hard for them, and am now a breeder of these amazing animals.
