Hello friends!
You may have caught the subtle (and not-so-subtle) hints in my last update, but let’s make it official – there are babies here at Mel’s Exotics!
So far of the eight or so females who bred, four have dropped litters 😀 And I couldn’t be happier to say that all the babies dropped so far have been the picture of health, and all the mamas are already plumping back up. I’m still watching my other ladies for babies, but here’s what’s dropped so far:
Litter 2018-1: Flambe x Jenga – Northerns – 5 babies born June 03, 2018.
Litter 2018-2: Evita x Penn – Northerns – 11 babies born June 12, 2018.
Litter 2018-3: Tiberius x Alrick – Northerns – 7 babies born June 13, 2018.
Litter 2018-4: Bomber x Wasp – Northerns – 3 babies born June 25, 2018.
At two-to-three weeks old the babies get named, and around four weeks old I can offer them as available. This year the prices will again start at $400 + exact shipping for the babies, with some litters and the yearlings/2-year-olds being more. Litter 1 got their names today and a few may be available as early as next week!
