Up here in Canada there really aren’t that many people working with blue tongue skinks. I became interested in them about a decade ago, and only started breeding in 2011. But out in Ontario there’s a wonderful man who’s been breeding blue tongues longer than I even knew they existed. His name is John Delahaye, and I’m happy to announce his first litter of 2013 northerns popped last week 😀
Here are some pictures John sent me of his new litter of 5 from mother Annie (isn’t she stunning!):
John is also expecting another litter from mother Fiona, due any day:
John lives around Kingston, ON. If anyone is interested in John’s babies, I believe most of Annie’s babies are already spoken for, but there’s still Fiona’s litter 🙂 I will vouch that he is one of the greats in the blue tongue skink world – absolutely fantastic to do business with. And it helps that his skinks are so beautiful. If you’d like his contact information let me know!
Lastly, he sent me a couple pictures of ‘baby’ Elaine, who was born here at ME in 2012. John and I did a 2-for-2 bloodline trade last year 🙂 Elaine is looking fabulous, and John’s skinks here (Alrick and Harris) are amazingly stunning <3
